Human-Centred Horizons offers specialist services, such as coaching leaders, auditing and updating organisational policies, and designing and delivering leadership development programmes. We focus on creating positive experiences and learning-driven cultures for all colleagues and organisations to succeed.

 

With a dedicated approach, we provide expert guidance in areas such as people development, staff wellbeing,  employee engagement and relations, coaching, mentoring, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), leadership and organisational Development, and mediation.

We appreciate that leaders and employees are often short on time and 'headspace,' and working against a backdrop of constant change. We do our best to embed learning and provide practical and tangible outputs to suit your needs.

Experience & Services

1. Human Resources Expertise: With experience of operating as a strategic people professional, with experience of operating at Director level and providing advice to both local and national level charities, and small and large organisations in different sectors. We are passionate about leading and delivering real impact on HR work streams such as people development, staff wellbeing, EDI, employee engagement and relations, and recruitment, as well as collaborating strategically with other key business functions such as corporate communications, planning and governance, and health and safety.

Services Available: We are available to create or review People strategies, undertake strategic HR audits, review policies and processes, consider organisation design and workforce planning, to ensure that you are not just compliant but supporting your workforce and business to thrive. 

 

2. Coaching, and Mentoring: With over a decade of empowering leaders and teams through designed and purposeful learning interventions, we facilitate coaching and mentoring at all levels, that is tailored towards behavioural change and enhancing working relationships. Trained and qualified to postgraduate level, and with membership of the Association for Coaching, those we work with can expect to feel safe and empowered. 

 

Services Available: Coaching and mentoring packages for individuals and teams, that can involve utilising varied psychometrics and 360* tools. Coaching packages are proposed with your needs in mind, but typically can be 3 - 8 sessions of varying duration, and in-person or online.

3. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI): We are skilled at collaborating and consulting to create and embed inclusive initiatives and principles across organisational strategies and practice. Co-creating solutions that work for your organisation, understanding and supporting any opportunities for positive action, so that colleagues from all backgrounds can not just understand individual differences, but see the value of how this strengthens performance. 

 

Services Available: Undertaking EDI impact assessments on organisational policies, processes or projects, and designing and delivering training for colleagues around implicit bias, allyship and the Equality Act 2010.

4. Leadership and Organisational Development: We have extensive experience in designing and delivering leadership programmes and staff training that drive cultural transformation, performance improvement and talent planning. We also have experience of working as a business leader, and a MSc in Strategic Leadership and management; this enables us to bring deep knowledge and empathy when working with managers. 

 

Services available: Creating bespoke programmes and sessions for aspiring, early, established, middle and senior leaders, applying up to date theoretical rigor alongside creating space for colleagues to reflect, share and apply learning. We can also support with 1-1 mediation, aligning organisational strategy through the creation or adoption of skills and behavioural frameworks, and reviewing performance management arrangements such as the annual appraisal.  â€‹

5. Staff Development: We have experience of analysing organisational needs and gaps to create bespoke training plans and programmes. This can involve individual, team or organisational wide approaches, and focus on business areas such as enhancing customer experience, effective problem solving and decision making, transforming communication approaches and supporting wellbeing in the workplace. With Senior Fellowship in Higher Education, and a Diploma in Learning and Development, we are able to create, facilitate and evaluate comprehensive and intentional learning experiences.

Services available: Using organisational insights, we can work with you to design and deliver one-off sessions that could be a lunch and learn, half or full days, intensive multi day programmes, or programmes spread over a number of months.
